Recently I met with a group of Republican women activists in Potomac, MD, to share with them the importance of reaching out beyond traditional Republicans to invite new voters to learn about why Republican candidates better represent their views. These are lessons learned as described in my new book, Building a New Majority, that describes my experiences working for Presidents Nixon, Reagan and George HW Bush. These candidates reached out to working class and ethnic voters and WON their elections. These ideas can work on the state, local and national levels.
